User Management

The Propeller WordPress Plugin provides tools for efficient account handling, including user registration and password recovery. These features ensure a seamless and secure experience for both administrators and users.

Registration of Account​

New users can register directly on the platform and gain access to features like order tracking, quote requests, saved favorites etc. Optionally, administrators can configure approval processes for new registrations, making it ideal for B2B environments where account validation is necessary.

Steps to Complete the Registration Process​

  1. Choose Your User Type
    Select whether you are registering as a:
    • Company
    • Consumer
  2. Enter Personal Details
  3. Add Company Details (for Companies Only)
  4. Provide Address Information
    • Billing Address
    • Delivery Address
      If the delivery address is the same as the billing address, check the box labeled Delivery address is the same as billing address. If different, fill in the delivery address fields separately.
  5. Create a Secure Password
  6. Submit the Registration Form

Post-Registration Steps​

  • Confirmation Email - You may receive a confirmation email to verify your account.
  • Access Your Account - Once registered, you may be automatically logged in, if this option is enabled in the Propeller WordPress admin panel, or log in using your email and password to access the platform's features.

Tips for a Smooth Registration​

  • Ensure all required fields are filled in accurately.
  • Use a strong password that includes uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
  • Double-check your email address for typos to ensure you receive confirmation emails and notifications.

Reset Password​

The plugin includes a Forgot Password feature for users who have lost or forgotten their login credentials.

  • Users provide their registered email address.
  • A secure password reset link is sent to their email.
  • Users can create a new password, ensuring quick access without compromising security.
