businessRuleDecisionTableSave

Replace the whole content of a decision table (hitPolicy, columns, rows and cells) in one write.

All or nothing: when validation fails or the write fails, nothing is stored and the table stays as it was. The response is the complete saved table. Send the ids of columns and rows to keep them; omitted ids are generated. Every row needs exactly one cell for every column of its kind, and a cell holds at most one of expression, value, number or localizedValue. Not available for incentive rules, whose tables are saved with incentiveRuleSave.

Possible errors:

  • BAD_REQUEST: The content is invalid (duplicate ids, a missing or extra cell, a cell with more than one value, an invalid expression)
  • BUSINESS_RULE_NOT_FOUND: Business rule with the specified ID does not exist
  • BUSINESS_RULE_TYPE_NOT_SUPPORTED_ERROR: The business rule is an incentive rule
  • BUSINESS_RULE_DECISION_TABLE_NOT_FOUND_ERROR: Decision table with the specified ID does not exist within the rule
  • BUSINESS_RULE_DECISION_TABLE_UPDATE_ERROR: Failed to store the decision table
  • FORBIDDEN: Insufficient permissions to modify decision tables

Decision table node containing the core business logic organized in tabular format.

Each decision table consists of multiple rows where each row represents a specific business rule with conditions and actions. The hit policy determines the execution strategy when multiple rules match the input criteria. Tables support complex expressions, conditional logic, and multi-criteria decision making for comprehensive business rule automation.
