Explore B2B Features
Walk through the B2B features that make Propeller different from a standard webshop. This page guides you through a set of scenarios that demonstrate customer-specific pricing, company accounts, ordering, quoting and portal access control. You are not configuring anything here. You are seeing the platform in action.
Your Propeller environment includes demo data for all the features below. No setup is required.
What demo data is used in this walkthrough
- Company and contact — A B2B company with a contact that has login credentials. You can manage companies and contacts through the API or in the Backoffice under Users.
- Products and clusters — Products with prices and at least one cluster with variants and optional add-ons. You can manage products and clusters through the API or in the Backoffice under Products.
- Pricesheet — A pricesheet assigned to the contact with customer-specific discounts. You can manage pricesheets through the API or in the Backoffice under Pricing.
- Orderlist — An orderlist assigned to the contact that limits the visible catalog to a subset of products. You can manage orderlists through the API or in the Backoffice under Users.
Portal mode: anonymous vs logged-in
Start by visiting the catalog without logging in.
With a default setting of open portal, without being logged in you can see products, prices and stock. You can add products to the cart and order them.

Log in as a B2B contact
Log in using a contact's credentials. After logging in you land on the account dashboard where you can see your quotes, orders and more.

Browse the catalog and see customer-specific pricing
Navigate to the catalog or search for a product. The prices you see reflect the pricesheet assigned to your contact. Notice the catalog now shows customer-specific pricing and only the products that are part of your orderlist. If a product has bulk or tiered pricing, the product detail page shows a pricing table with the price per quantity tier.

Configure a cluster product
Navigate to a cluster product. A cluster groups multiple product variants together, for example an LED panel available in different sizes and color temperatures. On the product detail page you see dropdown selectors for each variant attribute. Select different options and the page updates the price, SKU and availability. If the cluster has optional add-on products (cluster options), those appear as additional selections on the same page.

Add to cart and place an order
- Click Add to cart on a product detail page. A confirmation popup appears showing the selected product, options and price.

- Open the cart. The order summary shows the subtotal, shipping costs, VAT and total.

- Click Proceed to checkout. Confirm the invoice and delivery address and select a payment method.

- Review the order summary. Add a reference or comment in the notes section if needed and accept the terms.

- Click Place order. The order confirmation shows the order number, addresses and line items.

Request a quote
- Add one or more products to the cart. In the cart, click Quote request instead of proceeding to checkout.

- Confirm or fill in the invoice and delivery details, add an optional note and click Place quote request.

- The submitted quote appears in Sales Hub where a sales rep can review the line items, adjust pricing and respond to the customer.

Manage favorites
Go to your account area and open the favorites section. Click Create a new list and give it a name.

On a product detail page, click the heart icon next to the add-to-cart button. Select the list you want to add the product to and confirm.

Open the favorites list to see the added products. You can add items from a list directly to the cart.

Company account features
The account dashboard shows your company information, open quotes and current orders. Under the personal and company details you can see contact information, tax number, CoC number and debtor ID. The addresses section shows the default invoice and delivery addresses for the company.
If your contact is associated with multiple companies, you can switch between them from the account area.
